Mid

Mid is an energetic two-year old Blue Tick Coonhound whoseowners both became very ill with cancer and other health issues, and had to sell their farm and move into assisted living.  A facility is not an appropriate place for her breed so they have sadly had to give her up and hope to find a new owner who will love her as much as they do.  She is very sweet and affectionate with her humans but is not fond of other dogs so will need to be the solo dog in her home.  She will require an experienced handler willing to continue her basic obedience training and preferably owners who know her breed.  She needs a home with enough property for her to run and chase squirrels and enjoy the hound life!  And preferably with a secure fence at least five feet high where she can have some freedom to play safely.  She loves toys and will entertain herself on a rainy day!  Bred from UKC champion stock, this beautiful girl is fully vetted, house trained, walking well on a leash, is attentive, sits, and likes to do “touch”.   We are working on other basic obedience skills.  For more information please contact me at suzanne.kozel@embarqmail.com.
