Hattie

Hattie came from BTAS as a former stray. She is about 3 years old, high energy, loves the dog park, fetch, and tug-of-war. Hattie is friendly with people and other dogs, but struggles with some behavioral issues, particularly resource guarding. I believe she requires intervention from a behavioralist, as well as a stable home with hard boundaries, lots of patience, and plenty of chances to run around, ideally with another dog. She requires a lot of attention, so a family might be a good option, although her resource guarding would be a challenge around children. She is very sweet and happy when she is feeling calm!
