Peg is a sweet, playful puppy who loves wrestling with her brother, but is equally happy playing with her toys on her own. Peg is a long haired Chihuahua - corgi mix, so she will not be very big. Right now she weighs just under 8 lbs. and is expected to be no more than 15-20 lbs. when fully grown. Peg didn’t have much socialization the first 3 months of her life, so she is a bit timid when meeting new people, and takes some time to warm up. However, once she is comfortable with you, she’ll greet you with tail wags and kisses. Similarly, Peg is nervous when meeting new dogs. Give her a few minutes to learn they’re friendly, and she’ll warm up and be ready to play with them. This beautiful little girl is a high energy puppy who loves to run, but she is also content to just curl up quietly near you. Peg is pee pad trained, and has started learning about going outside to pee. Since Peg is still teething, she will need patience as she learns what is appropriate for chewing. At bedtime, she enjoys curling up close to you, and if you let her, she’ll stay with you all night. Peg will need a family who is willing to be patient with her while she settles in, but with all that Peg has to offer, your patience will be rewarded.
