Josie is a very sweet and affectionate young girl. This lovely brown tiger kitty was brought into a rural shelter at 8 weeks of age along with her 2 brothers. Since they came at the end of kitten season, they were overlooked again and again! Six months later, we found them at the shelter and scooped them up right away. Josie is very grateful to no longer live in a kennel and she shows it every day. She loves pets and gives really great nose boops! She actually hugs sometimes when she's lap sitting! It's so sweet!!! She is not the kind of cat that will be all up in your business and getting in the way of your Zoom meetings. She knows when to let you work and she doesn't demand attention constantly but when you sit on the floor, you are asking for snuggles. She is fine to take naps by herself or just gaze out the window feeling happy to be indoors. Josie has one cloudy eye from an infection while she was in the shelter but it doesn't affect her at all and it doesn't require any medication. Josie would love to be adopted with one of her two brothers, another kitten or into a family with a resident friendly cat. But we also believe she would also be fine as an only cat if her humans were at home a lot of the time.
