Hi! I’m Callie! If you are looking for a super sweet, love bug, that’s me!
I am a 1.5 year old, 40 lb (fully grown) hound mix with beautiful amber eyes that will melt your heart. I am a quiet girl (my foster mom has never heard me bark!) and would love lounging on the couch with you. I do a very good impression of a donut when I snuggle up too! Don’t get me wrong, I still like being active like taking walks and I do well on a leash! I’m excited to start to explore the greenways and walking trails around my foster home. I am learning to play with toys and love treats, I happily take them gently from your hand! I’m also happy to go anywhere with you and sit nicely and quietly in the car.
I’m a smart girl and already know commands like: sit, down, and come. I am eager to please and very attentive with my foster mom. I love all humans I meet, so I would make a great addition to any family! I haven’t met very young children yet, but with my sweet nature, I bet I would love them too.
I am good with all other dogs I have met and I’m respectful of the cats in my foster home. I am working on crate training when alone and will already sleep nicely in my crate night at night but would also be more than happy to snuggle up with you! I am housebroken and have never had an accident inside. I have so much love to give and hope I can find my forever home soon! Will it be with you?
