A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.
This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to Beautiful Together may provide benefits to both Beautiful Together and the donor, who may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor may list Beautiful Together as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor’s death.
Every dollar you donate helps us to feed, supply and care for the animals we are fostering, pay the fees required for pulling animals out of many rural shelters, and manage the often significant medical costs of animals in need of refuge.
In addition, as we begin the build out of the sanctuary, where we will support animals in need, support pets and people in crisis and provide services to our community in support of pets. This endeavor represents a significant amount of hope - and it will also require significant support.
