I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Moo

We're happy to tell you that Moo has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the kitties currently available.

Moo's adventure began when she was found at night on Hwy 54 in Carrboro by a nice couple who rescued her off the median.  She was all alone-no mama and no littermates-and she was tiny, about 2 weeks old.  They bottle-fed her for a couple of weeks then contacted BTAS so we could continue her care.  Moo already loved people when we started fostering her, and she'd been living with two big dogs, but she hadn't been with other cats since she was separated from her mama.  It didn't take long for Moo to be romping around our house with our two BTAS rescue cats.  Her big brothers have been showing her the ropes and teaching her how to be a good kitty.  Moo adores playing with our two boys, but is savvy enough to read the signals from our older, somewhat grumpy female cat that she'd like to be left alone, thank you very much.  Moo is also respectful of our senior dog, understands the dog doesn't want to play with her, and doesn't bug her.  People are her absolute favorite, and will follow us around the house.  Moo is very affectionate, and she likes to cuddle way up on your chest and tuck her head under your chin.  She purrs constantly when getting pets, and even allows-and enjoys!-tummy rubs.  Moo is super playful and would love if her new family had another kitty for her to wrestle and chase, but most of all she would love humans of her very own to cuddle.
