It invites people to spend time with animals in a clean, bright environment where warm interiors open onto lush farmland and forest, and where animals are not only safe – they are seen, comforted, and deeply cared for. With nourishing food and water, medical care, enrichment, and gentle affection, animals who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected begin to heal in the presence of those who show up every day simply to love them. And in caring for them, many of us – whether we give, volunteer, adopt, or visit – find a deeper sense of joy and purpose in doing good right where we are.
What surrounds us now reflects this. Much of what you see was donated, repurposed, recycled, built, or made possible through the extraordinary generosity of people who believed in this mission. Volunteers and foster caregivers offered their time, skill, and heart, helping to save thousands of lives as we built this. Donors gave with vision and compassion, turning hope into something tangible. And core team members chose to devote their daily lives to this work – showing up with grit, grace, and love.
Soaring ceilings and walls of windows offer light and space to animals who previously knew confinement. Our Cat Cafe’s floor-to-ceiling windows invite in rustling trees, swooping birds, and the feel of the world outside. Our outdoor decks offer peaceful spaces to take in sweeping views, while more than five miles of walking trails invite quiet, reflective exploration across the property. Several acres of pasture are already built and in use, providing lifelong sanctuary for animals who live safely and comfortably here. With additional sanctuary spaces still to be built, we continue to steadily create a true refuge.
In keeping with our mission, this sanctuary was built to bring people and animals together through youth and community programs that build empathy, support emotional well-being, and ensure animals receive the compassion and socialization they need to thrive.
This isn’t just a sanctuary for animals.
It’s a place for those who believe that kindness should be visible and, when practiced in community, can grow into more good than we could ever create alone. This sanctuary exists because we are truly more Beautiful Together.
