Another move to a new home triggered another health crisis, and once again, we found ourselves rushing him to the emergency vet. Cats (and specifically rescue cats) are incredibly sensitive creatures, and the stress of traumatic experiences can have serious physical effects on their health. That’s why, whenever possible, we try to pull cats from shelters—where the overwhelming environment can be too much for them to handle.
Fanta is now finally on the road to recovery and is receiving all the love, comfort, and care he deserves. While we are relieved that Fanta is healing, the cost of his emergency care has reached $2,000.
