I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Dori

We're happy to tell you that Dori has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Dori was rescued from a rough situation with 42 other hounds and came to the rescue in need of a lot of TLC. She has been nursed back to health by her foster family and has blossomed into a happy, playful girl!

Dori is a very active 1 year old who loves to play with other dogs, and especially enjoys going to the dog park and chasing her ball. She's still learning that she needs to bring them back though! She also loves going on walks, and would make a great hiking buddy. When she's not enjoying running outside, Dori is a big cuddle bug and snuggles right up to her foster mom on the couch. She is learning basic commands and just enjoying have a new life where she can be a dog for the first time. While she hasn't met many children yet, she is very interested in them because they look like they would be fun playmates!

Dori is potty-trained and uses a doggie door when she needs to go out. Her foster mom says she has an amazing temperament and fun personality. She loves meal time, her chewy toys, and especially cheese! Dori will need a home with a doggie friend/sibling as she loves being with other dogs.

Dori is also a TV star! She was featured on the news:  https://www.cbs17.com/news/local-news/42-hound-dogs-rescued-in-wilson-now-recovering-at-various-rescue-groups?utm_source=wncn_app&utm_medium=social&utm_content=share-link
