Peggy is a playful, happy little girl. You would never know she is missing a front leg unless you looked closely! Peggy was brought into a shelter with a severely damaged front leg. It is unknown how she was so badly injured but the leg was useless and painful to her. Within 48 hours of being in our care, Peggy was in surgery to have the infected leg removed. She hadn't had use of the leg for many weeks before surgery so after surgery she still only had 3 legs but the painful one was gone! Peggy is able to jump, run, use the litter box, play and generally act like the kitten she is. Now she is happy, no longer in pain and in search of her furrever home.
