I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Nora

We're happy to tell you that Nora has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Up until last week, I was running the streets in Granville County with my mom and sister. Someone took me to the shelter where I stayed for 3-4 days until Beautiful Together rescued me. That’s a lot for an approximately 3-month old  puppy but I am a resilient little girl. Initially, I was scared to come out of my crate or into the house. And, although I can still be a little timid (it’s only been 3 days), I have learned that lots of great things happen outside a crate and inside my foster family’s house. And, once I’ve warmed up, my sweet and silly puppy personality shines bright!!

First, they have kids and a dog and I love these things so much. When I see my foster kids and family and they talk puppy to me, my tail wags nonstop and I can’t help myself from licking their faces off.

My foster family also has lots of cool toys to play with and I’m really getting into playing with toys and chewing on bones. I also like all the stinky socks my foster kids leave around the entire house, so you may need to pick those up until I learn they’re not special treats just for me!

Finally, I love snuggly blankets and a cozy couch. I’m learning how to give the best snuggles for my foster kids who are masters of the snuggle party.

At night and when my foster family is unable to keep an eye on me, I sleep in my crate. I may fuss a little for a minute or two if I feel like I’m missing out on something or if I need to potty but sleeping through the night without a peep.  I’m still working on letting my foster family know when I need to potty outside but we’re figuring it out together.

My foster mom thinks it will take me a little while to figure out the world is safe but confident I will be the best dog any family could ever dream of. If you have lots of love to give and a pinch of patience, I would love for you to help me learn how amazing a safe, stable home with lots of snuggles would feel!
