Emily is a feisty, funny little girl, very vocal, very brave, always makes eye contact with you and holds it, and loves to play tag with her mother and wrestle with her siblings. She barks, growls, and yips in her play; she will likely need a home that wants an alert dog who lets you know anytime something is going on but also gets quiet as soon as she sees that you've noticed her and whatever she was trying to announce. Then she'll hold your gaze as long as you let her, wagging her tail in the hopes you're going to pick her up. I suspect the same border collie traits her mama shows -- alert, loving, smart, eager to engage -- will persist. She is mostly short-haired but seems to have some longer hairs popping up. Could end up with a bit of wire fur mix or perhaps something longer?
