Bonjour - I'm Claire and I'm very grateful for a soft bed and great food. My sister Claudette and I were rescued from a rural shelter as someone had surrendered us. We aren't sure why we weren't wanted because we are as sweet as can be. I didn't get a lot of attention before meeting my foster family so I'm learning what it's like to accept and give love. I have a purr that will lull you to sleep and my fur is silky soft. I will need to be brushed to keep my fur looking beautiful and healthy. So far, the brushing is nice and I let my foster family dote on me. I'm working on showing my outgoing personality but will need some patience to reveal my true amazing self. I do enjoy the dog in my foster home from afar and would probably like other kind dogs with a slow intro. I have perfect litterbox manners and I love to play with puff balls and string. I would be happy to find a home with my sister Claudette or with another loving cat. I'd even do well as a single cat in a home with a person who is home a lot. I'd prefer a quieter home with no kids. I like spending time with humans but I'm also very independent and enjoy many hours just sitting and watching birds out the window. I should be ready to go to my new home around 2/7/2022 after my spay surgery.
