A letter to Noel:
On the morning of December 29, 2021, your spirit reconnected with the universe and I no longer trusted the ground we walked on. Your almost 25 years of life had an indelible imprint on the people and horses we met and the ones we still get to know.
Shine the brightest my star. Keep looking for me at the fence line, I will listen for your nickers and we can walk toward the gate together.
Being your forever mommy was the greatest honor of my life!

The Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary is currently being built on 83 acres of land in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
In 2021, Beautiful Together pulled more than 700 cats, dogs, kittens and puppies from overcrowded animal shelters in North Carolina and found them loving homes and forever families. In 2022, Beautiful Together will continue to build out the sanctuary while also launching a dedicated horse rescue program with a focus on saving these extraordinary animals from abuse, neglect, malnutrition and kill pen networks.
