Sweet Sylvia was lost and wandering on her own before she was rescued by BTAS. At first, she was understandably fearful and just needed a quiet space to decompress; each day she is gaining confidence and composure in the comfort of a safe home. She will surely keep warming up to people but is currently avoidant and prefers her own personal space. Energetic and agile, Sylvia is approximately 8 months old and weighs 8 and a half pounds. She is comfortable and quiet in a crate and sleeps through the night there. She loves squeaky toys and gets along with other dogs. She needs work on potty training (she will use a pee pad) and socialization with people. She got vet care through BTAS and is now vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed soon. Sylvia will make a wonderful companion dog for a kind and patient person.
