I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Artemis

We're happy to tell you that Artemis has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
I’m a cute, playful little girl, and super smart! My perfect forever home has a fun dog friend and loving human to help my confidence continue to grow.

Artemis is very entertaining and SO PRETTY, with natural black eyeliner around her pretty doe eyes, and a beautiful fawn colored coat. This silly girl is an 8 month old, 30lb female Beagle mix. (Approximate DOB 1/20/2021) She will probably grow a bit more, but will most likely stay a compact little sweetie. She can be shy, but with help from her foster family, she is becoming more brave. She has the BEST time running and wrestling with her big shepherd foster brother! His guidance is really helping to build her confidence. She is a medium energy girl, and is getting used to rides in the car. She learns quickly, and has done very well with her potty and obedience training. She doesn't have accidents, so long as she gets regular potty breaks. She's good with kitties, and does great with most dogs she meets. (Who doesn't love a sweet, adorable little puppy?!? Grumpy older dogs, that's who!) Because she is still a bit timid, loud noises tend to startle her, so she would probably not appreciate the joyful exuberance of small children. Cool older kids for THIS girl, please! She would do best with another dog sibling, who can show her the ropes and continue to help build her confidence. She walks well on a leash and doesn't pull, and loves to go on walks alongside her foster brother. She doesn't tend to chew on people, but because she is still a puppy, she will need your guidance and supervision to learn which of the fun things are her chew toys. She adjusts to new situations well, especially if there is another dog to play with. The world is still sometimes a bit scary, so she will need a patient owner with calm, confident leadership skills. She currently uses a doggie door to access a fenced in yard, which she loves. This set up works well for her, but is not required. She barks a bit when she’s startled, but otherwise she’s not a big barker.
