Bear is a handsome boy who is full of love for his people! He is a loyal companion who just wants to be enjoy his lazy days, a daily walk, and plenty of love and affection. He is the ultimate love bug and wants nothing more than a home where he can be the center of attention and dote on his humans. He would do best in a home without cats and young children. He prefers a home without dogs, but would do fine with another dog who is laid back and submissive.
Bear is a very smart boy and can truly detect human emotions like when his family is happy, sad, mad, etc! He loves to support his humans through their ups and downs. Bear also loves his food and treats and will do just about anything for a treat! He knows lots of commands because he is an A+ student at his training classes! He has mastered "sit", "stay", "place", "break", "shake", "come", "wait", and more! He is potty-trained, crate-trained, great on leash, and rides well in the car (although he may need a boost to get in!)
Bear's perfect home would include a family who can give him lots of love and attention, a yard (even fenced!) where he can play and sniff, and one where his family will keep up his training and take him on walks and cuddle up with him in the evenings! He also has a secret love of empty paper towel rolls because they make the best chew toys!
