Hi! I’m Cinnamon! I came to Beautiful Together with my fur brother after being rescued as a stray and I’m just loving life now! I adore anyone who will give me pets, kids included! I will do best in a family with children 10+ as I like predictability. I have medium energy and with my foster mom I enjoy walks and am always up for one! I have been learning about my neighborhood smells, sights, and sounds and just can’t get enough! I ann potty trained and haven't had any accidents. At night I sleep in my crate without a peep until my family walks me in the morning after breakfast! I am crate trained and will go in when I need a rest or some alone time. I am comfortable at home with my routine and I really like laying at my family's feet (or couch only when invited). I have been around other dogs before but I do like being the queen of my castle, so being your one and only or being in a home with another submissive pet would be ideal for me. I also love my food and don’t want to share, so being fed separately might be best for me if I have a fur sibling.
I am still putting on a little weight, but it is happening! I am kind, lovable, and really enjoy time with my family. I am also happy to chill by myself when my foster family is working or tending to other things! So far, I haven't found anything to bite or chew on, my parents think that won't be a an issue.
I have been great in the car, just lying down until we get to our destination. I am sometimes shy with new people, but once I feel safe and you give me affection I am quick to warm up!
I will hang outside in the yard, but I prefer my people to be outside with me. I know sit, lay, leave it, crate and probably lots more my foster family hasn't figured out yet! I am very smart and quick to learn. I would do best with a family that is home a lot, on the quiet side and will be gentle with me so I feel safe. If you are looking for a gentle dog to walk with, that loves affection, I would love to meet you!
