I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Corrie (now Corn Chip)

We're happy to tell you that Corrie (now Corn Chip) has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Corrie is the sweetest girl ever! She is an absolute lovebug. Her favorite pastime is lying on her back and sleeping parallel to you. This girl likes a long session of fetch and getting her zoomies out. Her favorite activity, though, is tug-of-war. Her activity level is moderate; she can be a couch potato and, at the same time, be an adventurous girl. She is great while on the leash (we are still working on pulling when something interests her, but overall, she will walk beside you). She can get slightly spooked for a second when a loud car drives by or when there are sudden loud noises. Besides that, Corrie is so obedient in the car. She needs a bit of encouragement to get in the car but settles in the backseat instantly. And a quiet passenger! She understands that she is supposed to sit while being strapped down to the leash seat belt and sit and stay before getting out of the car.
Corrie is crate trained; however, she may need a bit of convincing initially with a treat and hardly wines once she is in the crate. Additionally, Corrie is potty trained. She knows "sit" really well and has been a quick learner to "down," "spin," "paw," and "wait." She is also getting the hang of sitting when people greet her. Oh, and Corrie is so great in the bath! She jumps in the tub right away. Corrie is hardly a barker. You only hear her little "woo woos" when she is excited and wants to play!
Corrie is good with other dogs, from large to small! She has met various people and loves any attention from anyone. Instantly, she will come and show her belly to anyone. She has met a few kids, ages two and up. However, due to energy at times, she will do best with children five years old and older. But she is so gentle with all kids.
Corrie will do best with a moderately active family that takes her on at least two walks a day or has time for a few play sessions during the day. She can be an only dog since she loves being with people, or she can be with another active playmate. With her "portable" size, she can go anywhere! She is easy to pick up and bring along with the family on an adventure. She will do great as an apartment-dwelling dog! Corrie can't wait to find her forever family soon!
