Jack is such a cute 20lbs boy who looks like a terrier mix. He was brought to us after Hurricane Helene and has been having so much fun playing with his new foster brother. He has a cloudy scar on one eye, but that doesn't do anything to take away from how adorable this guy is.
A message from his foster "Meet our new foster, JACK, a rescue from the Chimney Rock area after Hurricane Helene. He is about 1.5 years old, 20 lbs., and a sweet, loving, lively, curious, and playful little guy. He likes interacting with his foster humans and dog but also plays well by himself. So far, he favorites are squeaky toys, tennis balls, and laser lights – oh, and back rubs. He is full of energy, so would need opportunities to burn it off. He sleeps through the night and is great with our senior dog and good with children. He is curious about the cat, but untested. Jack is also very smart - learning commands (sit, no, wait) and working on manners (he is playful mouthy). He is very enthusiastic and curious on a walk, but might need some leash training to help him pull less. He came to us with a cloudy eye that has been treated (will learn more from vet this week and update then). Bottom line is he is a wonderful pup in a small package and would make a great addition to a loving and active home."
