Hi! My name is Duchess. You may want to consider playing the lottery because whether or not you know it yet, today is your lucky day! Why, you may ask? My foster mom keeps saying that whoever adopts me is going to feel like they won the puppy lottery! She thinks the family who gets to adopt me is the LUCKIEST!!! She talks about how I am the best balance between playful and snuggly that anyone could ever wish for. I am equally content snuggling on my foster mom’s lap, wrestling with my furry foster siblings (or human ones), or playing contently on my own with my toys. When I’m not snuggling or playing, you can find me gathering any and all toys around the house and bringing them to my bed. I have also started to do “zoomies” which my foster mom said is a rite of passage for puppies and one that is so incredibly cute!
As for logistics, I love food and treats, so my foster mom thinks I should be easy to train. I’m crate-trained, willingly going into my crate to eat and sleep. I sleep through the night and nap in my crate without protest during the day. I’m doing quite well with potty training when provided frequent opportunities to go outside.
So if you are feeling lucky, I may be your puppy! Please act fast though, my foster mom says I’m the total puppy package, so will likely be adopted in a flash!
