Frankie is a lovebug! He is a happy little guy who is full of personality, just like your typical chihuahua. He loves to be around his chosen person and other dogs and is fine with cats too! He likes to explore and is good on a leash. He would love to take walks and then come home and nap in your lap. His favorite cuddle spot is in the nook of your elbow!
He is potty trained and crate trained. When in a new environment he can be a "spicy" little guy and show fear-based resource guarding until he is more comfortable, so he would do best in a home with adults or respectful older children. Frankie's ideal home would be with a single person or couple in a laid-back, calm environment. We have developed a great protocol for Frankie when introduced into a new home and with new people that will make him feel comfortable and bring out his sweet personality within a few days, once he is settled in! Frankie prefers to come to you first on his time, so as long as that is done within the first 24 to 48 hours, he will be your very best friend when you give him that chance!
Frankie knows he's a bit of a diva and has specific needs, but he really hopes that someone is out there ready to love him for his quirky self!
