Meet charming and irresistible Jasper! Who can resist that one ear that sticks up?!! Jasper was surrendered by his previous family to the shelter because they didn't have time for him when they had a baby. He was about to be euthanized when Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary stepped in and pulled him into foster care. Every human he meets absolutely adores him. He just wants to love and be loved. He does not do well with cats. He LOVES other dogs, but not all dogs appreciate his exuberant style of expressing that love. His previous owners said he did play well with other dogs, and we know he had at least one good dog buddy in the shelter (also rescued by Beautiful Together), so we know there are dogs out there who DO love him!
He has been a very good houseguest with his foster family. He is potty trained, crate trained (although he does well out of the crate, even when left alone), doesn't bark much, walks really well on the leash, loves to play fetch, enjoys going for runs (as long as you are ok stopping every now and then so he can sniff and pee on things). He gives the sweetest hugs and sloppy kisses and loves to cuddle. He is young, playful and energetic, so he'll need someone who can make sure he gets his wiggles out and do a little training with him. He LOVES his chew toys, and remarkably doesn't usually chew on things he's not supposed to, even when left alone, uncrated. Given his puppy energy, he may not be a great fit with young kids just yet. But he is truly an awesome dog and will make a very good addition to some lucky forever family.
