Turtle is a girl who has stolen her foster grandmother's heart from the start, watching the world around her with curiosity and gentleness. She is growing bolder bit by bit and -- by virtue of having 10 siblings -- is very comfortable with other dogs, though she, like her sisters, are especially intrigued by her 150 lb. foster uncle. So far she has not been allowed to climb on him as is her heart's desire, but she is not afraid to try and keep up with his enormous stride when he runs by the puppy pen on warm outside play days.
