Magnolia (aka “Maggie”), is a little cuddly bundle of joy and energy. Don’t be fooled by her diminutive size, because she holds her own in “The Treehouse Gang”! At only 6-8 weeks old, and a bit over three pounds, Magnolia and her two sisters were abandoned beside a busy road, but they were survivors and found shelter from the cold inside a hollow tree until they were rescued by their fosters. Maggie loves to snuggle in your arms, play with toys, her littermates, and the two big dogs in her foster home, and she is learning lots of social skills from the others. She delights in outdoor time - exploring, playing chase with a stick in her mouth, running after blowing leaves.
Magnolia is crate-trained, already sleeps through most nights, and is well on her way to being potty trained - although, like all young pups, she still requires lots of trips outside! This girl relishes treat time and is learning to sit and come, although it’s difficult to get her to focus with her sisters clamoring for attention! She will flourish with one-on-one, yummy reward-based teaching. Magnolia is still small and will probably not be a very large adult. She wants a home with lots of love, time, and patience to help her continue to grow into the incredible dog that we know she will be. She would be most secure in a home without young children. Also, Maggie has learned her name, but is so smart, she will quickly learn to be called by another should her new family make a change.
