Sweet Mannie has quite a story. He was unfortunately shot by police because he barked at them when they went into the house to arrest Mannie’s owner (can not imagine how scary all of that was for this sweet dog!)
He was in a shelter for a while, and the vet there eventually realized he would need to have his leg amputated from the injury. He also had to have his jaw wired shut for a while because of a second injury.
After his amputation, he went to live with a wonderful foster family, who still has him, and would likely have already adopted him if he wasn’t so interested in chasing cats!
That brings us to now... Sweet Mannie needs a forever home with no cats!
He’s about 8 years old, but still has that boxer puppy-like energy! Super sweet and loves to snuggle with his people.
