Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Pepper will be getting a real gem! She is so easy to fall in love with. Pepper is approximately 1 year old and is one of the most loving dogs that I have ever met. Inside she is quite calm and cuddly but outside she loves to run so a fenced yard is required. She leaps just like a deer and is so fun to watch. She loves to chase the ball and jumps on top of it. Because she is still a puppy, she still needs some time to realize her size and strength so must be supervised around small children and animals. But inside when she is calm, she seems to do very well with children. She is potty trained too. Pepper aims to please and listens well! She has also learned “sit” and “shake” within two weeks of being with her foster. Pepper is a little shy at first but is beginning to warm up to strangers and dogs a little faster than she did just a few weeks ago. It is best not to use a crate with Pepper because in her former life, it was reported that she was stuck in the crate for extended periods of time, and she gets rather panicky now if made to go in a crate. She seems to be past the puppy chewing stage and has a very soft mouth when taking treats/food. Pepper would be fine as an only pet but would also be fine with other dogs.
