Petunia is approximately 3 years old, 15 lbs., has the cutest ears, and is the sweetest girl you'd ever want to meet, especially once she is comfortable with you! She has come a long way since being rescued from the shelter , though she is still a bit unsure with new people, particularly men and children so she may need some time to warm up!
Petunia really enjoys the comforts of home- a warm bed or couch to lay on, a good bone, and lots of attention. She would love to sleep in the bed with you- she curls up into the tiniest ball and doesn't move until the next morning! She is very treat-motivated and knows how to sit. She is also house-trained and quickly does her business outside. Petunia gets along well with her foster dog sister who is about the same size- she is still a little unsure of bigger dogs, especially those with a loud bark! She walks well on a leash and likes going for a walk around the block but doesn't require a lot of exercise.
Petunia would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day or with someone who has the time and patience to work on additional training. She would also probably do best in a house without younger children.
She was recently spayed and microchipped and is just waiting to be the perfect companion to the perfect person!
