Shumba

Shumba (est. 14 months) is a total goofball who loves being outside roaming off leash, her doggie friends, tugging anything with you, and above all, belly rubs. She is crate trained, has great basic obedience and knows several tricks. She will do best in a home with a large fenced in yard, good privacy from neighbors or other sights/sounds, perhaps in a rural area, where she will not need to be walked on-leash (or a family who is committed to working with her on leash!). Above all, she will need a patient family who can help her cope with the things she finds stressful (particularly being on leash, but also unfamiliar sight or sounds). She is hesitant about strangers but warms up quickly. Older kids may be ok, best in a household with no cats. Dogs are ok, she might even do better with a doggie sibling to play with!
