Bella and Willow are a sweet and gentle bonded mother-daughter pair. They've been together their whole lives and must be adopted together. Bella is a 12 years old bassett hound-lab mix and Willow is a 10 year-old mostly lab mix. Don't let their ages fool you! These senior ladies are full of life! Perhaps they're making up for lost time after being housebound for nearly a year, because nothing makes them happier than exploring the woods and country. This is good news, because at 65 and 75 lbs, they need to shed a little weight. They're easy going and happy to lounge around by your side when indoors. Willow is eager to please and will take as much affection and attention as you'll give. Bella is a little more strong willed but easily persuaded with a treat.
They are very enthusiastic on walks, but easily managed because of their ages. Willow was born without one of her rear feet so she has to hop along, but she does just fine.They love everyone they meet and seem to be good with dogs and cats. They are most likely fine with children, as they grew up in a house with kids. They are housebroken. They are great in the car, though they need a little help getting in and out, as well as occasional help with steps and ledges.
