The family says he is high energy and prefers women to men. I have only interacted with him in the yard, so I'm not sure the full extent of his behavior. He accepts treats from me gently and lets me pet him. But he seems extremely miserable and lonely. He needs a bath and probably medical care. He is left outside in the freezing cold, downpours, storms, etc. And he has no toys or interaction with any humans or other dogs. The family has said they would surrender him if I found a place for him, so I'm trying to find the right fit. And a sanctuary seems like a good option, so that he can be assessed and primed to go to a loving family.
