I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Snickers

I'm Available

Meet Snickers: Because Who Wants a Normal Cat When you Can Adopt a Walking Plot Twist?
:

Snickers has… seen things.
We’re not exactly sure what, but his broken back legs (that were never set properly), his missing tail (cut off or removed - we don’t know), and his slightly haunted expression (which actually works for him) give us some clues. He walks like everything hurts - because it probably does.

Which is why Snickers has a very clear system:

  • Yes, you may pet me = happy purrs, sweet lap cuddling, heart-melting affection.
  • No, you may not pet me = angry meows, dramatic hisses, and perhaps a swipe in your general direction. Because Snickers doesn’t tolerate nonsense.

Basically, one minute he’s a purring angel. And the next he’s cursing your bloodline because you touched his side wrong.

Other cats? He often dislikes them.
Dogs? Probably worse.
Small children? That’s a no from Snickers.
So, to recap: No cats, no dogs, no kids - oh, and no sudden movements.

When it’s time to put Snickers into a carrier - well, that’s a choose-your-own-adventure with very real consequences. In those cases, he will need someone who understands trauma, humor, and the strategic use of oven mitts.

So, if you like your affection served with a side of drama, here’s the part that matters most: under all the sass, mystery, and occasional acts of violence is an 8 year-old  cat who still very much wants to love and be loved. Think of him as a roommate who’s both enigmatic and slightly unhinged - but sometimes falls asleep on your chest and purrs like nothing ever happened.

The brave may apply - and should be fluent in respecting boundaries that move without warning, mild acts of self-defense, and unconditional love for imperfect souls. In return - and this is the most important part - you’ll earn something rare: the fierce, unfiltered love of a cat who finally knows he’s safe - and the opportunity to matter more to him than you’ll ever fully know.
