A few weeks ago we were given the wonderful opportunity to speak at an event hosted by PMDA, PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association. The PMDA Salutes Photographer’s Who Give Back Event was held at the SVA theatre in New York and awarded four photographers who have used their talents to shed light on important social and cultural issues. Beautiful Together was honored to be have given the opportunity in sharing our mission with others. We are extremely grateful for the kind grant that has been awarded to us by PMDA to help continue our work in support of children waiting for families living in extreme poverty, orphanages and foster homes.Other recipients included Colby Brown Photography (The Giving Lens), Ted Kalawerski (Family Life Academy Charter School, and Anthony M. Ruotolo Photojournalism Award recipient Elise Swain.
